Essential Oils Studies to Become an Animal Aromatherapist

This course is designed for those wanting to learn how to professionally use essential oils and botanicals safely with their animal friends. 

Ashi Aromatics Advanced Educational Module Series is formatted to empower and educate others in the safe and proper use of essential oils with animals.

A solid foundation in aromatherapy is a must for anyone using essential oils. Our course is unique in that we offer a complete mentorship-based program designed with the main focus on Animal Aromatics and Essential Oil Therapies.

Course information is applicable to dogs, horses and many farm animals.

 Course Levels:

  • Level I*, Level II, Level III, Essential Oil Chemistry, Aromatics & MRSA, The Art of Ethics and Business Building* Programs are now available via our new online school. These seven courses are part of the Animal Aromatherapy Certificate Course program requirements.
  •  *Level I Course is a prerequisite for all the other aromatherapy classes (there are no exemptions from Level I, it is a required course). Animal Aromatherapy is different from human aromatherapy in includes additional safety, cautions and contraindications for safe use with our animal friends. 
  • *Business Building course is under development in hopes to launch in 2019.

Additional Required Elements for Course Completion:

  • Students must complete a minimum of 20 Case Studies.

  • Students must document 100 hours in Health History Intake and Follow-up practical/hands-on experience.

  • Students are required to complete a minimum 10 page Research Paper.

  • Students must take and pass course module quizzes and assignments.

  • Students must take and pass a final examination.

  • Students must give an oral presentation to the instructor of a documented case study via conference call area.

Upon successful completion of all course elements students will receive:

  • A Certificate of Completion

  • Continuing Education Certificate/s (if applicable)

  • 1 year Professional Membership with H.A.A. (Holistic Animal Association)

  • Opportunity to join the Ashi Animal Aromatherapy Practitioners Online Group

  • A private one-hour phone/email consultation with instructor

  • Discount on future consultations with instructor

Students will have the option to be able to apply for Professional Membership with NAHA (The National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy). NAHA Membership Fee is not included with course fee.

Our 300+ hour program meets and exceeds the NAHA (National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy) professional aromatherapy education standards and requirements.

Level: This course is open to all levels: beginner through professional. A great learning experience for all animal lovers and for those already working in animal-related fields such as: Veterinarians and Vet Tech/Assistants, Groomers, Trainers, Stable and Farm owners and staff, Massage Therapists, Energy-therapy Practitioners, Animal Communication and Animal Rescue Center Staff and Volunteers etc.

There is also a Level I Flower Essences for Pets course that is open to all levels and compliments the Animal Aromatherapy Program.

Additional Course Materials Not Included: 

Essential oils, carrier oils/bases and optional books or charts that are listed for recommended reading. Students are not required to read any additional books (as the course materials are a complete program) however you may want to purchase the laminated charts of meridian channels for specific animals for visual reference use with Level III Course.

Our Courses are Approved by:

NAHA (National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy) and H.A.A. (Holistic Animal Association). CE is available for CFA (Candian Federation of Aromatherapists) and NCBTMB Continuing Education Credits are available for Licensed Massage Therapists for some of the courses.
